Baer Rear Brake Upgrade Kit, 2005-2014, 14" Pro Plus . This system features the 6P 6-piston caliper mounted on a 14" 2-piece slot, drill, zinc-plated rotor. Baer systems include a unique billet backing plate that not only acts as a caliper support, but also houses the bankisa (1-piece) park shoe. This is a more modern (better working) parking brake assembly then the more commonly used drum on top hat parking brake systems. The systems feature stainless steel brake hoses as well as calipers that have DOT compliant dust and weather seals. High grade NAS steel fittings are used on our pre-assembled 2-piece rotor. Rotor Size/Type: 14" 2-Piece Piston Count: 6 Pistons Pad Type: Corvette C5/C6 Front Pads (#D0731) Minimum Wheel Size: 18" Includes: Stainless braided brake hoses, parking brake assembly and brackets for reusing stock park brake cables. Includes Baer Verislide brakes to allow the rear caliper brackets to "float" to allow movement of the factory C-Clip axles. Notes: Designed to be used with the stock S197 rear end.
